Real problems people faced — and how MusicMule helped them solve them.
“I kept missing great local shows because I found out about them the next day. MusicMule finally put tonight’s gigs in one place — and I stopped refreshing five different venue pages.”
“Venues asked for a press kit, rates, and availability — and I was sending different PDFs every week. MusicMule gave me one press kit venues can trust and a real way to negotiate bookings.”
“Open Thursday nights were our worst problem — texts, DMs, and spreadsheets everywhere. Broadcasting open slots in MusicMule filled those nights with acts that actually fit our room.”
Before MusicMule, my Friday nights started the same way: Instagram Stories from friends already at a show I didn’t know about. I’d check venue websites, Facebook events, and a couple of “what’s on” blogs — and still miss half of what was happening within a few miles of home.
The problem wasn’t that Nashville lacked live music. It was that the information was scattered. By the time I found a set I cared about, it was already sold out — or already over. Following artists helped a little, but I still had no single view of tonight near me.
MusicMule fixed that. I open the app, set my location, and see what’s playing nearby. I follow the artists and venues I love, mark shows as Interested, and get notified when something lands on my radar. I’m not hunting ticket links or juggling five apps — I’m deciding where to go.
Last month alone I caught three local bands I would have missed completely. One was a last-minute Thursday set at a room I’d never checked. Another was an artist I follow who finally booked a venue ten minutes away. That’s the whole point for fans: discovery that actually matches how people live — local, timely, and personal.
MusicMule didn’t turn me into a different person. It solved a simple, frustrating problem: I love live music, and I was tired of finding out about great shows the next morning.
As a working indie artist, the hardest part wasn’t playing — it was everything around the gig. Venue bookers wanted a press kit, socials, member names, rates, and whether I was free on a given weekend. I kept a messy folder of one-sheets, Dropbox links, and half-updated bios. Every outreach felt like starting over.
Calendar conflicts were worse. I play solo and in two projects. Confirming one show could accidentally double-book another act under the same name. Negotiations lived in email threads and Instagram DMs — dates, fees, and load-in times buried in chat history.
MusicMule gave me a professional presence venues can actually use. I built press kits for my solo act and bands, set availability, and flipped “Open to gigs” when I wanted work. Rate ranges stay visible to venues, not fans — which is how it should be. When a venue sends an offer, we negotiate in the app: date, time, duration, fee. No more lost threads.
The AI draft helped me get a clean bio on the page faster than staring at a blank Google Doc. I edited it, added photos and members, and published. Within a couple of weeks I had a confirmed booking with a room that found me through the app instead of me cold-emailing them.
MusicMule didn’t promise fame. It solved the business problem every working musician knows: look professional, stay bookable, and keep negotiations in one place so the music can stay the focus.
We run a mid-size room with a solid weekend calendar — and a recurring headache on midweek nights. Filling those slots meant texting artists we already knew, scrolling social DMs, and maintaining a spreadsheet that was never quite current. Good acts fell through. Weak fits got booked because we were out of time.
Communication was the bottleneck. Offers lived in email. Confirmations lived in texts. Someone would change a start time and half the team wouldn’t see it. Fans asked “who’s playing Thursday?” and our own staff sometimes had different answers.
MusicMule became our booking desk. We set up the venue profile, hours, and “Accepting bookings.” When a Thursday opened up, we broadcast the open slot instead of privately hunting. Artists who fit the room applied. We reviewed press kits, sent offers, negotiated once in Messages, and confirmed. The calendar finally matched reality.
The biggest win wasn’t just filling nights — it was reducing the scramble. Confirmed bookings stay in one place. Artists get clear terms. We still choose who plays our stage; MusicMule just stops the chaos around that decision. And when a show is locked, fans can discover it nearby like any other listing.
We don’t sell tickets inside MusicMule, and that’s fine. We needed coordination: profiles, offers, messages, and open nights that don’t die in a group chat. That’s the problem MusicMule solved for us.
Got questions? We’ve got answers.
MusicMule started from a simple gap: fans miss local shows, artists struggle to get booked, and venues waste time filling open nights across scattered tools.
We built one mobile platform that connects all three. Fans discover what’s playing nearby. Artists manage press kits and booking offers. Venues run calendars, broadcast open slots, and book the right acts.
MusicMule is a discovery and booking-coordination tool — not a ticket marketplace. We help the live scene work together without collecting show fees.

Please read these terms carefully before using MusicMule.
MusicMule helps fans discover upcoming live events nearby; helps musicians manage a professional presence and find or initiate bookings; and helps venues manage calendars, book musicians, and broadcast open slots. MusicMule is a discovery and booking-coordination tool. We do not sell tickets, collect show fees, or become a party to the live performance unless we say so in writing.
Every registered account is a Fan. During onboarding you may also set up as a Venue Owner or as an Artist, but not both. You may remain a Fan and add a role later from Profile, subject to Artist/Venue exclusivity. Sign up with email/password (email verification required) or Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Fans may browse nearby shows, filter by date, distance, and genre, save events as Interested, follow venues and acts, and manage notification preferences. Following, favoriting, and booking actions require a signed-in account.
An Artist may have a solo profile and up to three bands. Each act is separately discoverable and bookable, with its own press kit, availability, rate range, followers, and booking history. Acts under one account share a calendar. Rate ranges are visible to venue accounts only.
A Venue Owner may add multiple independent venues. Each venue has its own profile, calendar, booking inbox, availability, broadcasts, and followers. You may toggle “Accepting bookings” per venue.
Booking is a private negotiation between an artist and a venue through offers (date, time, duration, fee, and related terms). Confirming a booking locks business terms between those parties. MusicMule is not responsible for cancelled gigs, no-shows, payment between artist and venue, or performance quality.
Artists and venues may message each other about bookings. You retain rights in content you post and grant MusicMule a license to host and display it as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of your profiles, availability, and offers.
Use MusicMule lawfully and honestly. Do not impersonate others, post content you do not have rights to, scrape or interfere with the service, or use accounts, messages, or bookings to harass, spam, or defraud anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.
The service is provided “as is.” Event listings, availability, fees, and profiles come from users. We do not warrant that a show will occur or that a booking will be honored. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MusicMule is not liable for disputes between fans, artists, and venues.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. Last updated: September 16, 2026.
